Welcome — Hola! I’m Milagros, and I’m so glad you’re here.

Art and teaching have always been part of my story. My grandmother was a teacher, my mother a self-taught artist, and my sister a Spanish teacher—each inspiring me to embrace creativity, culture, and connection. After more than 20 years of teaching art in Florida and South Carolina elementary schools, I’ve found my way to beautiful coastal Georgia, where I feel so blessed to do what I love: teaching and creating.

These days, I’m back in the classroom, teaching art and Spanish to children at Glynn Visual Arts Center. Outside of teaching, I continue to explore my own artistry. While pet portraits will always hold a special place in my heart, the breathtaking marshes and landscapes of my new coastal home have inspired me to expand my work. I now create custom paintings that celebrate the beauty I see in the world.
